Throughout the year, our #SaltFireWater event series, presented by Williams-Sonoma with Ingredient Sponsor World Foods and Contributing Sponsor Nicky USA/Nicky Farms, brings adventurous lovers of good food, drink, and community together to share exceptional culinary and communal experiences. Each event is centered around a communal feast in the casual yet upscale food hall setting at the our headquarters in Portland’s Central Eastside Industrial District. The events feature prominent Jacobsen Salt Co. and Bee Local chef customers both from Portland and other cities around the country. On July 16th we created our latest Salt Fire Water event. Chef Philip Krajeck of Nashville restaurant Rolf & Daughters teamed up with Chef Gabriel Rucker of Portland restaurant Le Pigeon to offer diners a singularly unique version of American BBQ. We cooked Wagyu Beef Brisket with Pickled Blackberries, St. Louis Style Pork Ribs with Black Garlic and Coriander, and so much more.
