WOOD-FIRED FEAST WITH CHEFS JOSHUA MCFADDEN, VINNY DETOLO, AND JON SHOOK - "AVA GENE'S MEETS JON & VINNY'S"

Chefs Jon Shook and Vinny Detolo, are the culinary visionaries behind Animal, Son of a Gun, Trois Mec, Jon & Vinny’s, Petit Trois, Trois Familia, Helen’s, and Carmelized Productions. With numerous awards, acclaimed restaurants, and renowned dishes, these men are some of the biggest movers and shakers in Southern California's burgeoning culinary scene. 

Chef Joshua McFadden is owner and executive chef of Ava Gene’s, and has worked his way across the country - from famed farms to storied restaurant kitchens - landing in Portland where he's revolutionized the city's dining scene and, arguably, it's food culture. A dear friend of the Jacobsen Salt Co. team, Chef McFadden has been a supporter from the beginning, and we're excited for the release of his upcoming cookbook, Six Seasons: A New Way With Vegetables, coming soon in 2017.

Earlier this month, these talented chefs and proud pizzaiolos fired up one of Oregon's most famous vehicles: Red Hills Market's wood burning oven on wheels, and created a wood-fired feast for a hungry and happy group at the Jacobsen Salt Co. World Headquarters.
