Our Infused Hair Bender Salt, made with Stumptown's classic coffee blend and cold brew, provides excellent balance and earthy undertones to any cut of steak. Use the coffee salt on its own for a subtle coffee experience or try this flavor-enhancing dry rub on your next steak or pork roast.
¼ cup finely ground dark-roast coffee
¼ cup chile powder
¼ cup dark brown sugar
2 tablespoons Infused Hair Bender Salt
1 teaspoon cracked Tellicherry Black Peppercorns
2 tablespoons smoked paprika
1 tablespoon ground cumin
1½ teaspoons mustard powder
1½ teaspoons ground coriander
Mix all the ingredients thoroughly in a small bowl, being sure to break up the dark brown sugar clumps.
Liberally sprinkle a thin layer of the rub onto each side of the steak. Let rub sit for at least 2 hours or overnight before cooking with preferred method.
