TITLE: Director of Sales

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Director of Sales is responsible for achieving annual sales revenue and profit goals across all sales channels. The Director of Sales is expected to perform sales and meet quarterly and annual sales quotas and will be a member of the core management team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform sales of America’s best Salt, Honey, Candy, Apothecary, and related products to multiple channels: National Grocery, Natural Foods, Distributors, Food Processors, Chefs, and Specialty stores
  • Actively manage the sales pipeline
  • Plan, develop, and establish policies for working with brokers and distributors
  • Develop objectives for sales functions in concordance with the strategies of Company
  • Develop sales strategies and techniques to maximize sales volume
  • Direct all sales and category management personnel and depending upon experience, the field marketing team as well
  • Overall responsibility for recruiting, hiring, training and evaluating employee performance
  • Must be a role model for the company’s culture
  • Work closely with the CEO to develop, establish and direct channel and new distribution strategy
  • Maintain key customer relationships and further develop account penetration techniques

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in having the top sales position within a company of 25 or more employees
  • Ability to plan, manage, and execute at both the strategic and operational level
  • Has established contacts and relationships with retailers within the Natural Grocery channel
  • Outstanding selling abilities with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must have a proven sales track record in new product/new market environment
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Willingness to roll up their sleeves to do whatever it takes to get the job done

COMPENSATION:

  • Commensurate on experience and performance
  • Base + Commission + Bonus

TITLE:
Direct Marketing Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Direct Marketing Manager is responsible for achieving annual sales revenue and profit goals within the online sales channel.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Perform sales of America’s best Salt, Honey, Candy and related products
through online channels
● Driving and measuring traffic, sign ups, sales, revenue, margin and other key performance metrics of the B2C website
● Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns
● Build the company’s customer contact and email lists
● Must be a role model for the company’s culture

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 2+ years of experience designing and implementing digital content marketing initiatives that include paid, owned and earned media channels: SEM/PPC, SEO, Display Advertising/Retargeting, Email, Mobile, Social Media campaigns, etc.
● Ability to plan, manage, and execute at both the strategic and operational level
● Experience designing, executing and evaluating A/B and multivariate tests in various marketing channels
● Problem-solving skills a must -- Resourceful and innovative at tackling complex challenges in a timely manner
● Smart, fact-based decision-making on how to best optimize marketing spend across multiple channels to generate the highest revenue growth and ROI
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience presenting to senior management
● A keen eye for design, color and typography; understanding of HTML, web design and coding
● Willingness to roll up their sleeves to do whatever it takes to get the job done
● Analytical. Metrics driven and supported decision making
