Rob's Black Garlic Meatballs

  • 3 lbs ground pork
  • ¼ cup minced ginger
  • 10 green onions
  • 2 Tbsp black vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 3 tsp Black Garlic Salt, plus more to finish

Perfect as an appetizer, party snack, or paired with rice and veggies for an easy midweek meal, these umami-packed meatballs bring bold flavor with the help of our Black Garlic Salt.

Process

 

Preheat your oven to 375°F. 

In the meantime, separate the white parts of the green onions from the green tops. Mince the white parts and thinly slice the green parts, then set both aside. 
Next, combine the ground pork, ginger, minced white sections of the green onion, black vinegar, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar and Black Garlic Salt in a large mixing bowl. Once thoroughly mixed, scoop out the meatballs into 1 tablespoon-sized balls. Lay them out on a lined baking sheet. 

Bake for 20 minutes, or until the meat is thoroughly cooked. 

Once ready to serve, top with chopped green onions and more Black Garlic Salt.
